DAY 1 – DIANI BEACH
On this day, we shall depart our Nairobi hotel early enough and be transferred to the SGR station. We shall be boarding the 0800 oclock train and arrive in Mombasa Island at 0100 oclock. We shall have our lunch in the Coastal Island of Mombasa then proceed to Diani by crossing the Indian ocean using the Likoni ferry.
Lying on the Indian Ocean approximately 30km south of Mombasa city, Diani beach is the most popular beach associated with plenty of sunlight that allows you to indulge and experience tranquility that you will not find anywhere else.
There are numerous world class beach resorts, widespread palm vegetation, giant coral reefs and a vibrant marine life put Diani Beach in its own class. While here, you can simply relax on the beach and unwind, take a walk, participate in beach sports or enjoy an afternoon picnic.
On arrival at our resort, we shall check-in the go visit the Colombus Conservancy. Colobus Conservation was established in 1997 as a not-for-profit organisation to promote conservation of the colobus monkeys and address the threats to its survival. The organization works in partnership with local communities to promote the conservation of the colobus, along with other endemic primate species, and the unique coastal forest habitat on which they depend. Today Colobus Conservation programmes focus on habitat conservation and community linkages as well as human/primate conflict management, welfare, education and research. The objectives and work of Colobus Conservation is recognised internationally by AZA Colobus Species Survival Plan (SSP), Pan African Sanctuary Alliance (PASA) accreditation and are supported by well known conservationists Jonathon and Angela Scott through their role as Patrons.
We shall later head back to the hotel for relaxation, dinner & overnight stay.
Meal Plan: {Lunch & Dinner}
DAY 2 – DIANI BEACH
Even those with a passive interest in marine life will not fail to be enthralled by the coral gardens and the variety of colourful fish when arriving on a beach, you will soon be approached by the goggle boatmen, who take snorkeling trips in their glass bottomed boats. It is possible to see the fish and coral through the bottom of the boat but it’s a poor second to being in their water yourself.
Among the best places for snorkeling is the Marine Parks of Kisire-Our location at the moment(Watamu/Malindi and Kiungu and Kiwayu are others) and it can be done at all times of year but conditions are considered best from December to March.
On this day after an early breakfast, we shall join Baracura for our todays’ outdoor activities, boat tours, water sports, scuba diving & snorkeling. Class are also offered here for deep,navigation, wreck, drift and naturalist diving. We shall enjoy our packed lunch in our hired boat as we proceed with our days activity. Later head back to our hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

On this day, we shall visit Tiwi beach and have our day relaxed at the beach. Tiwi is a quiet beach tucked away in Kwale, with very quiet serene environment. A stroll along the soft white sands is an absolute idea. Later in the afternoon, we shall head back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4 – NYALI BEACH & BAMBURI BEACH
After early breakfact & check-out, we shall leave Diani very early but before that, we will passby Diani beach art gallery and Diani snake park. Then later we shall cross back to Mombasa Island in time for lunch. Have a Swahili lunch (early lunch) in town.
The colourful island town of Mombasa with its blend of ancient and modern buildings on the Indian Ocean is Kenya’s principal port and the country’s second largest city. Here we shall do a city tour after lunch. A comprehensive tour of the island include the old Arab town, with it’s maze of narrow twisting alleys displaying the beautifully curved doors and verandahs, bazaars with curio and antique shops, the Dhow harbour still in use, a Hindu temple, a visit to the Akamba wood carvers and a drive to the bazaar for a short shopping expedition. The high light of the tour is probably the visit to Fort Jesus. Built in 1593 by the Portuguese to guard the entrance to the old Dhow harbour, it is the island’s Landmark. Four hundred years old, the port still stands and serves as a historical museum.
Shortly from there we shall head to Nyali.Crossing through a Nyali hotel we shall enjoy the beaches for 2(two) hours then we head to the train station to catch the 03:00pm train to Nairobi.
If you’re looking for a haven of tranquility that is not far away from the city and amenities, Nyali beach should be your ultimate destination. Nyali is located about 5km from Mombasa CBD. Located in the up market neighborhood of Nyali, the easy accessibility makes this beach rank highly amongst the top beaches in Mombasa.The good thing about Nyali beach is that it’s pristine, calm and quiet. Apparently, the crowds here are relatively few especially if you want to be on a laid back beach that allows privacy. The beauty is outstanding; there are hundreds of palm trees and plenty of beach sports.
You can do anything here; relax and gaze at the sun, swim, sunbathe or surf. Several top notch beach hotels are located on the shores.
Furthermore, there are large shopping malls nearby where you can quickly grab your snacks.
